Ever since she was a young girl, Miki wanted to go out and have the adventure of a lifetime. She comes from a rather normal family with average income in the city of Goldenrod of the Johto region. Yeah, it's greatest city in the region for its vast shopping experience, Miki likes to design and sew her own clothes and equipment. Even her sunglasses and roller-blades were crafted by her. She is not one for symmetrical designs since they are too boring so she ties her hair to one side.

Although there are Pokemon Contests as well as Gym Battles, Miki did not like Contests for it only showed how pretty the skills the pokemon were. At the age of ten, she received her first pokemon Cyndaquil from her older brother and attended the pokeschool. Since the little fire creature was her first, Miki spoiled it and gave him food as rewards, thus making Loki hungry all the time and beg for food. At the same time, her friend Derek had a Mareep and Miki loved it for its cuteness. Every day (almost) she would jump up and hug it tightly and squeal.

Miki is usually friendly with other people and other pokemon and often admires how people take care of their precious companions and comments on their fashion sense. Most of her pokemon are the cheerleading type. Her childhood friend Derek has the same sense of wearing some kind of eye wear, although she wanted to make him some handmade clothes to match with his goggles.

Loki the Typhlosion

Miki's first pokemon and her favorite. Back then when it was a small Cyndaquil, Loki would be placed on Miki's shoulder and snuggled up to her neck. Loki is constantly hungry and always ask for snacks. Even as a Typhlosion, Loki still acted like a little baby and pointed to his mouth for food.

Zap the Plusle

Zap was the alternate to having a pikachu but Zap was smaller than the normal size of a pikachu, thus can be seen sitting of Miki's shoulder and powering up random electrical appliances that Miki may be using. Zap was caught during Miki's travels while she was trying to get a bicycle.

Donna the Bellossom

First caught as an Oddish, Donna emitted a sweet scent, attracting Miki toward it and wanted to capture it. When Donna evolved to a Gloom, Donna the Gloom was never gloomy and had a smile on her face. Miki won a Sun stone and used it to evolve Gloom to a Bellossom. One of Miki's favorite things about Donna is that Donna loves to dance like her and Plusle. One way or another, the trio does a cheer once in a while for their friends. Miki rivaled Donna with Derek's Vileplume since they are the final evolved forms of Oddish.

Altair the Altaria

Miki's transportation after Altair evolved from a Swablu. As a Swablu, Altair loved to sit on Miki's head and clean anything dirty with its cotton and fluffy wings. After evolving, Altair learned the move Fly and thus can help Miki travel to any city in the region.

Teru the Castform

Miki's weather predictor. Caught during the rain season. Miki mentioned that one of the reasons why she caught Teru was that it had the shape of sunglasses/goggles around its eyes. Teru comes from the Japanese word TeruTeru that it is a good luck charm for weather.

Lanny the Lanturn

Captured as a Lanturn, Lanny is Miki's transportation on water. Miki does know how to swim but can't stay afloat in water for long or can swim in strong currents. Lanny prefers to be underwater or swim at nighttime so he can use its headlight.</sub>
